PYWA Helping to feed the community of Oranyan, Ibadan, Nigeria

The Basorun Fajimi Community Center from the Basorun Fajimi House lead by Mogaji Oladiran Alabi, just begin there Basorun Fajimi Nutrition Program, in which they give food to the people in the community of Oranyan, Ibadan, in Nigeria. This is a collaborative effort that counts with the collaboration of the Sola Olagunju Foundation (SOF) and with the collective work of the Progressive Young Women Association (PYWA).

Around 150 portions of cook food will be distributed two times a week from the PYWA location, tickets will be distributed to the neediest families in the community on a monthly bases. These families will have access to the food in addition to some extra portions for the general public.

We, at PYWA, are grateful to be part of this amazing project that will be helping many people in the community who have no daily access to good food. We are proud to collaborate with the Basorun Fajimi Community Center (www.basorunfajimi.org) helping with serving and sharing the food to the community. We thank Sola Olagunju Foundation for its donations.
